Problem with html5 / Web Object in Articulate 360
Jul 27, 2018
Hello.
As you know, in articulate 360 it is no longer possible to display flash files (swf).
So I rebuilt my animation with adobe animate CC in html5 canvas.
To import my animation in the slide, I choose:
- Insert
- Web Object
- I choose the folder where my HTML5 file is stored
If I don’t resize the Web Object on the slide, the animation (Web Object)it is fully displayed.
But if I resize it, for example smaller (what I need) it is displayed with scrollbars.
It resizes the Web Object window, but not the content of the window, not the animation itself.
What I need is when I resize the Web Object, it is that is the Web Object itself who is resized, not the Web Object window only, and that it will displayed without scrollbar as a picture or a swf file, I mean it takes the size that you give it with the mouse (bigger or smaller).
Can somebody can explain me how to do that?
Do I have to do that with Javascript code ? ( for now I don’t really have javascript skills)
I attached the 2 adobe files (the html5 canvas and the javascript file).
The stroy 360 file.
And the Story 360 published html and html5 files.
If somebody can tell me which way to follow to resolve my problem, it will be great.
Thank you a lot for your help.

Thanks for your help :)
Hi,
That is actually a setting when you export/publish from Adobe Animate.
In the Animate publish settings, make sure to check the box for "Make responsive" and "Scale to fill visible area".
Hope that helps,
Russ
Hi Russ,

It was exactly the setting that I was looking for.
