Hello Dayn!
Thank you for attaching the Review 360 link. I am also seeing how the numbers change when toggling accessible text. Which version of Storyline 360 was the course built?
We don't currently have this or similar behavior logged as a software bug, so I'd like our Support Engineers to take a look at your project to determine what is getting in the way. Do you mind uploading your .story file in a support case? They'll test your project and reply with their findings as soon as possible!
Hi Lauren. I've submitted a support case.
I was using Build 3.55.25975.0
Thanks for the update, Dayn. I can see that you are working directly with John Carlo.
Were you able to figure out what was causing this? I have a file doing the same thing and I have no clue how it should be fixed.
Hi, Thomas.
I looked at Dayn's support case, and it seems the issue was file specific, which was solved by importing the slides into a new project. Can you try it using the steps below and let us know if it works for you?
I created a new Storyline file, imported the course pages in. Published the course and it still showed up as all ones.
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for trying the Importing Slides steps that Maria shared with you. Could you please share your .story file with us so we can take a look on our end?
You can upload this to this forum thread or privately in a support case.
Hi Luciana,
Thank you, I submitted the file yesterday, just waiting on word back.
Thanks for the help.
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for uploading your file! You should be hearing from one of our Support Engineers via email soon.
Good morning,
I'm joining this thread because I'm having the same issue. Was there a resolution for Thomas?
I imported all of the slides into a new course and it did not solve the problem.
Hi Alison,
I'm sorry your slides are all showing up with a 1 next to them in the menu! This has been logged as a bug in the software. This conversation will be updated when there are any updates on this issue.
Thanks for reaching out!
Any update on this or status of resolution?
Hi Kimberly,
Thanks for following up on this issue! Our developers are currently working on a fix. You're in the right place, and we'll share the good news once it is available!
I appreciate your patience!
I've experienced the same issue with the numbers in my numbered lists all appearing as 1s when accessible text is turned on. My workaround, until there's a fix for this, was to break my numbered text into separate text boxes. This works perfectly.
Thanks for sharing your workaround in this thread, Deidra! I'm sure it will be helpful to other community members running into this issue.
We'll be sure to update this thread with any updates on this fix.
Have a great day and happy developing! ✨
Any updates on fixes? I've continuously had this issue with numbered lists in accessibility view.
Is there an update on this? I am also experiencing this issue. I hesitate to use separate text boxes to have them show the correct numbers, as then screen readers won't read them as a numbered list.
I've noticed this is still happening when animation is set to show "by paragraph" for bulleted lists. Hopefully, there is a fix soon. Separating the text boxes is a hassle when you are working with multiple bullet points and many onscreen items.
Hello Daija and Nicole,
Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.
We do not have any updates to share on a bug fix at this time, but we'll be sure to update this thread with any news in the future!
Hi, when can we expect this fixed? I am still experiencing this issue using the latest version of SL. Number list changes to all 1s when Accessibility mode is ON. See screenshot.
Hi Salvador!
Thanks for following up on this issue! Sorry to hear this has been an ongoing roadblock for you!
