When I review a quiz (which has numbers on slides for good measure) the slides are fed back out of order to what they are in the actual scene during normal playthrough.
I even have a variable that is set when reviewing to tell the next button which slides to go to. It still does not work.
It sounds like we'd need to take a look at your .story file to see how you set up this variable and review triggers. They should be reviewed in the order you went through the course, if you're using the built in "review" button and functionality from the results slide.
Can you upload the .story file here using the "add attachment" button so that we can take a look?
I'm taking a look, and just to know more of what you're seeing - do you see them in a random order or just not the answer you took them in? Also are you testing this in preview or publish? If in publish, have you published for web and then uploaded to a server for testing?
Ok - I also uploaded your course to Scorm Cloud here and I saw one out of order the question 6 of 8 appeared after the 2 of 8 and then back to normal sequence after that. It looks like this question scene may be duplicated more than once in the file, so I'm going to keep checking the path and sequencing as it must be something in a trigger if it's just that one.
Sorry for the delay - I'm still taking a look, but are you not publishing to SCORM or publishing to web? Just want to make sure I'm investigating in the correct environment. Also did you take a look at the one I shared? Did you only see question "6 of 8" appear out of order?
I've been trying a few different things - without a lot of success. It's just the second question slide that jumps to the 6th question slide on the review. Like you, I don't see anything that is indicating it should go to that slide. I was able to get it to skip that odd behavior if I forced it to go to the third slide on a new custom review layer and using a timeline trigger...but that doesn't allow for the user to jump to the next slide at their own time. I'm curious if you were copying these triggers from slide to slide or had rearranged these slides?
Instead of starting over, I'd look at just rebuilding the second slide and/or the sixth slide first. That way at least it's not the entire thing.
No guarantees I guess - but since it seems problematic to that set up only, I'd look at recreating them first - perhaps as a new Storyline file first, so that you could import them in.

Try this one - I have removed all images and logos but the basic layout and navigation is the same as the full version
Thanks Chris -

Thanks for looking. I am really at a loss as to know why this is happening. The problem certainly duplicates once published as a scorm.

Hi,
Yes - publishing to SCORM. It is only one slide out of order but I can't see why. Trying to redo the whole thing now fills me with dread!

So could I build that slide again...delete the problem slide and reinsert it. Its all part of the quiz so would it matter if I did it that way?
It still may not work of course.
