Problem with Sliders in Storyline 2

Is anyone aware of an issue where, when you go 'back' to a slide with a slider on it, the slider wont move. It works if you go 'back' again and then forward but doesn't work when the last movement was 'Back'.
I've read various threads on sliders including the one below but can't seem to find this particular issue. Any help appreciated.
I've tried the following:
- 'Reset to Initial' selected on base slide and all slide 'layers'
- Reset slider layer variable to start value when timeline starts

Can you share your .story file Chris or just the slide with the slider?
Here you go Wendy.
Interesting - I can definitely replicate the issue, but cannot figure out a way to make it work correctly when revisiting the slide.
It looks like the Push slide transition on slide 1.3 causes this issue. When I remove that transition, run the scene and click Back from 1.3, the slider on 1.2 works for me.
Hey all. Thanks for the fantastic collaboration on this issue! 😊
I was not able to replicate this behavior in a new file, so let me do a little digging and see if this is truly file specific.
I'll post an update in this discussion as soon as I can!
Thanks Crystal (and everyone else - this community is one of the key reasons why we purchased Storyline)
I have to agree; I've learned a lot from the community!
Chris, I discovered in a new file that if I'm using the Push transition from either the left or the right, the slider gets stuck when using the Previous button from a subsequent slide. It becomes free again if you go back another slide, and then revisit the slider using the Next button.
The option to push from the top or the bottom works as expected. If it doesn't interrupt your course design, you could use one of those options as a workaround.
I'm documenting this behavior for our team so we can track it. If there is any update or a fix, I'll let you know here in the discussion.
Thanks for bringing it up!
One other thing to note, this behavior is NOT occurring in the HTML5 output of the course, as you can see here.
If you're hosting your course on the web, you can link your learners directly to the HTML5 output. The HTML5 output is supported in the following browsers:
Hopefully one of these workarounds will be viable for you!
I've changed the transition to something else so that the slider works as that is the more important element. Its run through our LMS so html5 is of no use. Thanks for trying.
