I have five buttons on a page and a variable that says once you click on all five buttons to unhide the 6 button. It won't work. I can't figure it out. The variable adds one every time you click on the button. Once it equals five it should unhide the sixth button but it doesn't work. Any suggestions?
Is this what you want? You can click buttons 1-5 in any order and once you have all of them clicked, button 6 becomes active. I did this with T/F variables in each button.
The order of the triggers in each button matters, by the way.
first i created a variable and set each button to add one to that variable. then i set a trigger that said to change the state of the 6th button to normal if the variable equals 5. Didn't work.
Then i tried your way and created a variable for each button and then set a trigger that said if all these are true to change the state to normal and that didn't work. I need a fix for this .
Did you put the new trigger in each and every button? And did you set that button's value to true in the first trigger and then check to see if all the buttons variables were true?
Also, is the sample I posted an accurate idea of what you are trying to do? Could you post your .story file?
each button takes you to a new scene. i just noticed that if you click the buttons and they take you to the scene then this doesn't work. if you click the buttons and they take you no where then it works. what is that?
So here is a version that takes you to a new scene each time.
I got this to work by changing the "main slide" to always reset to initiate state and adding a trigger to change the secret button to normal when all 5 variables are true.

Here are the screenshots that show what I did on the main slide to get it working.
Thanks John for sharing those elements here for Cindy.
