Problem with variables in storyline copied from one project to another?

Mar 02, 2023

Has anyone had a problem with variables imported into a new storyline?

I have one slide with multiple numbers - all of which have multiple triggers.

To play audio file.

To add or minus a score variable.

To hide the shape when clicked if correct.

- I then imported that scene from one stoyline project  to a bigger project with multiple scenes and the variables and triggers actions changed: add became subtracting, some empty states were attributed to other states, audio files were incorrect. I still have a copy of the same game and the original works fine. The problem definitely happened with importing from one storyline to another. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Hi Steven, and welcome to the E-Learning Heroes Community! ✨ So happy you're here!

Thanks for reaching out about this issue you're experiencing with variables.

Would it be possible for you to share your .story file in this thread or privately in a support case? I'd like to get a closer look at your setup and try to replicate this behavior on my end.

Thanks so much!
