Problems restarting videos

I have a problem with the video controls not working. I've created play and pause buttons that cover the video controls until the video ends. Once it ends the buttons are hidden. I also use a trigger to stop the video when it completes (so it's at the beginning again). The idea being that the user can review the video after they've watched the entire thing once. The video won't start again unless you navigate to the next storyboard then come back.

I'm sure that this worked fine in one of the older versions of Storyline but stopped after the last update (I'm guessing). I've updated to Storyline 2 but still see the same issue. The attached story file was created in Storyline 2.
