Problems with layers when revisiting slide
May 02, 2013
Hi,
I have a problem with a slide with three layers activated by buttons. When the user revisits the page for example by clicking 'prev' the page gets all messed up: text from different layers overlap or the content disappears altogether. I've tried every setting on the layers and I'm really at my wits end. The only setting that seems to not break the slide is the 'reset to initial state' which unfortunately is the worst option since in that case the user has to watch an introduction every time. Any help would be appreciated. I can attach the story file if it helps.

Hi Morten,
Would you be able to share the .story file?
Hi Harri,
Sure. I'm new to Articulate so if there is something I've failed to do properly, please let me know. Some of the problems I have are due to not clearing the browser cache, but it doesn't solve everything; things still get messed up if moving back and forth between slides.
The slides I have the most trouble with are slide 1.3 and 1.14
Hi Morten,
Just had a very quick look and it appears that on your layers you have a trigger assigned to the 'x' which states 'jump to slide'-> try changing these to 'hide layer' instead and see if that helps.
Hi Harri,
I think it is working now
Thanks for your help! I'm still trying to get to know Articulate and the community here is really great.
