Problems with Menu Navigation
Oct 11, 2015
Hi all,
We are using the Absorb Learning Management system for our courses and loading them up in Tin Can format with Storyline to create the modules. I'm having an issue with one person accessing the course. The course is set up in Absorb that they must complete modules in order before moving to the next one, and when you hit the Next button at the bottom right of the slide, or the x at the top right, you then finish the module and the next one becomes accessible. This works for everyone I have let test it out except for one. When she clicks on either, nothing happens and she cannot move on to the next module. In talking with Absorb Tech Support, they said I have to disable the menu navigation. Image attached below. However, we really would like people to be able to use that menu. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar problem and had a different option? Thanks in advance for any input! :)

Hy Mychelle
is the affected user accessing is via a different browser to the others that are testing out correctly? Could be a browser setting.
I thought that at first, and the one person having an issue has a Mac and tried it on Safari and Chrome. However, I tried it on a two different PCs on Firefox, Edge, IE, and Chrome with no problems, and on Chrome and Safari on my Mac. I had a few other people and try it with multiple computers and browsers with no issues. So I'm stumped as to why her one computer doesn't seem to work.
Can you upload it to Scormcloud and get her to test it there using exactly the same browser/s she has been using to access Absorb...at least that might tell you if its a LMS setting (maybe something in her profile).
That's a good idea, thanks! The LMS is saying it's Storyline and I'm somewhat skeptical about that so I will check it out on Scormcloud. :)
Hi Mychelle! Glad that Wendy is able to assist you here. Just let us know if you need anything further.
