I recently created the Spanish subtitles for some videos, in SRT format, but when I uploaded these files in Storyline I found that accents and other typical Spanish symbols are not well translated in Storyline (although they look fine in the SRT file).
Thanks for confirming, Carles. We are seeing a problem in Storyline 3 in which special characters like accents aren't displayed correctly in the Flash output. We're targeting to release a fix for that bug in the next update we release. I'll keep you posted to let you know as soon as it's ready!

Sorry you're running into that, Carles. I'm happy to help. First, can you tell me what version of Storyline you're using?
Storyline 3, thanks

Thanks,
In the meantime, for the one needing this service, converting the SRT file to UTF8 may help. There are a few websites doing this for free.
Ah, that's good to know. Thanks for sharing that tip, Carles!
Hi all,
Great news - Update 3 of Storyline 3 is available!
We released a fix for the issue where the closed captions don't support apostrophes and other special characters.
You can view the Version history here and you'll also be able to download Update 3 here!
Thanks !
