Please im developing a course to my students, but i need to know how can i to show the progress of one student when is reading the course. In other words, like a bar or circle that fill when the student is viewing each slide of the level for example. How can i do this?
Hi Carlos and welcome to the E-learning Heroes community! There are several different ways to do this depending on how the navigation of your course is setup. If your course is linear you can use a simple graphic of your choosing that adjusts as the course progresses.
If you have more of a branching or freely navigable type course you can use variables to track progress and adjust the progress indicator based on the value of the variable. You can see a tutorial on one option for a progress bar using a number variable here: http://learn.articulate.com/numeric-variables/
Hi Guys I am looking for the screenr to the response to this (http://learn.articulate.com/numeric-variables/) progress bar design flaw. In the response is the option of adding true and false variables. Can anyone share the link?
Hi Cynthia! I'm not sure what you are asking. The link that you shared utilizes a number variable, but you are asking about a true/false variable? What response are you referring to?
Are you saying that you are not able to see the video that the article references here? I see where you have reached out to Mike here as well so I'm not sure if he has some additional information to share.
If you are curious about the references to utilizing true/false variables, I'm not aware of a video, but wanted to share a couple of links with you here and here.
