Hello. We have a menu in Storyline with sections (promoted) and subsections (demoted) — this has been designed to help the user know where they are within the module. However, promoted items not showing as visited in the menu, but the demoted items are showing as visited.
It's a little difficult to tell from your screenshots if the promoted item gets a checkmark once all the slides underneath it are marked visited. That's the expected behavior. See below:
