When I open a linked published file on my desktop it opens the flash version and it starts automatically.
Ho ever when I open that link in a mobile Ipad - it opens up a launch screen where I again have to click play or a button to make the file open the new window to play.
How can I avoid that launch screen on a mobile device. I don't want to publish for the articulate mobile player.

Hi Josh,
As of now, it's built-in and there's no supported way to remove it.
That said, there's a lengthy thread with several workarounds to remove it an unsupported way over here.
