I have a project in which one slide does not activate a state change from hidden to normal when variables complete but when I preview it, or publish just that slide, it works fine?
Some other slide is changing the variable. Or any one of dozens of other reasons. If you’d like to have someone help you look for exactly what it is, attach your .story file here.
I agree with Walt; this could be a case where, in some other slides, the related variable is being changed by triggers. Which is why there's a different behavior when the slide is previewed or published by itself.
We'd be happy to look at your Storyline project file to confirm this or find out if there's another possible cause. You may attach your project to this discussion or privately in a support case. We'll delete it when we're done!
