I have a published presentation whoich just sits there with the spinner pre-load - the preosenation neve actually starts. It works other machines - any tips where to start looking IE 8, Flash 10, lastest patched SL
I've seen this when there's not direct connection to content, like there's a layer in front of it, like portal-like intermediary software that takes over access to things on an Intranet and hides the true URLs from people. Sometimes when moving to content in a folder underneath the root level of the course, the intermediary software gets confused.

Hi Garry - Where is the non-working published example hosted? Is the published course on a web server? or a local machine?
Here's a knowledge base article that might help: http://www.articulate.com/support/kb_article.php?product=st1&id=1bosyqaq2z1g
If that doesn't work, please let us know.
Hi David,
It does not run locally on a USB or local HD.?
The pre-loader just keeps spinning. Its fine on
other machines locally. Not sure what is stopping move past the preloader.
The presentation wa outputted via CD-ROM however the exe, Story.swf or story.HTML moves pass the preloaded.
thnx
Garry

Thx for the advice

Hey, Garry!
Try running a HTTP tracking tool like HTTP Watch when you launch the course. Might be helpful to see what file it's getting hung up on.
thnx Gerry
Good idea
