Publishing a course to LMS (successfactors)
Jan 13, 2016
Hi
We are currently introducing the Learning module through Successfactors using an in-house content server rather then icontent. Successfactors therefore does not allow you to upload a zipfile as it is not a content management system.
I believe I still publish from articulate as if I am publishing to an LMS and use a zip file. As I require one single URL reference to add to Successfactors am I meant to use 'index_lms.html'. When I add this I am just getting a blank screen with an error saying unable to connect to LMS -API.
Has anyone got any ideas what I am meant to do?

Hi Claire!
I'm not familiar with Success Factors, but you will need to 'host' and upload the zipped contents somewhere, and then perhaps the single URL reference will work for you.
Where is your content hosted?
Here is some additional information:
Thank you - we have managed to resolve this issue now.
Hi Claire,
Your discussion post is exactly the error that I am running into with a client of mine.
Can you please share how you were able to resolve this? And where you can find this "single URL reference" you speak of?
Help!!! :-)
Thanks in advance!!! :-)
Hi Courtney!
This thread is a bit dated and I'm not sure if Claire is still subscribed here. You are welcome to reach out to the user directly via the 'Contact Me' option on the user profile if needed.
Hi Courtney,
The index_lms.html file is one of many files within the published output. You could look at pointing to that one depending on how your LMS is set up, although typically if an LMS requires a single launch file that's the one we recommend pointing to as well.
