Publishing StoryLine file to work on a mobile device

Mar 15, 2016

Hi, I published a short course in StoryLine and to run on the computer and also for any mobile device/iPad.

When publishing, I first kept the defaults when publishing it to the Web. It worked on my PC, but not on my android.  Then I re-published it, and de-selected the Articulate Mobile Player option and kept the HTML5 Output checked.  It ran fine on my PC, but the course displayed no text or graphics, but the audio was fine and the progress bar worked properly.  What am I doing incorrectly?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Nina,

If you need to access the course on a mobile device, you'll need to include either the HTML5 or AMP option as a part of your publish. If you're using HTML5 you'll want to confirm you're viewing in one of the supported browsers detailed here.  You'll also want to check the directions here for how to distribute the course to access on those devices.

If you're having difficulty still could you tell us more about where you're hosting the course, what device/browser you're experiencing the issues with, and if possible share a copy of the .story file so that we could test it as well?
