I'm having trouble with some punctuation in the closed caption (SL-3). The issue seems to be within IE and not chrome. A couple weeks ago there was a suggestion of putting your text into note pad 1st, then cutting and pasting into the cc. It isn't fixing the issue. Can anyone help me get past this?
Thanks so much for letting us know what's going on, and I'm sorry for the headaches this has caused you. We are seeing a problem in Storyline 3 in which special characters like apostrophes aren't displayed correctly in the Flash output. Since you mentioned this problem pops up in Internet Explorer, you likely have Flash enabled in that browser.
We're targeting to release a fix for that bug in the next update we release. I'll keep you posted to let you know as soon as it's ready!

Hi, I've noticed the same on a recent course. Any status update available for this fix?
Not that I've heard about.
Hi Miki and Dan,
You are correct, no update yet. We have gotten a fix in for SL360, so this one should be included in the next update of SL3.
Thanks for your patience and I've confirmed that this thread is attached to the report so that we can update you here as soon as we can.
Hi all,
Great news - Update 3 of Storyline 3 is available!
We released a fix for the issue where the closed captions don't support apostrophes and other special characters.
You can view the Version history here and you'll also be able to download Update 3 here!
