Putting a state on a hyperlink?

Jun 01, 2017

The course that I'm working on has a marker and in the marker is some audio that automatically starts when the marker is pushed and the text box opens. I also have text that is hyperlinked to another slide with a video.  I would like to change the state or not let the student press on the hyperlink until all of the audio is complete.  I tried to do "when timeline ends" (it's the audio on the base layer) or "when audio ends" (but then they wanted me to pull audio from a file).  Any ideas please?  I also thought I could add a button instead of a hyperlink, but the button keeps ending up on the base slide:)

Hi Jennifer,

Is the hyperlink inside the marker? You mentioned a button but it appearing on the base slider - is the marker also on the base slide, or a slide layer?

It may be easier to help if you could share a copy or just a section of the .story file. You can upload it here using the "add attachment" button at the bottom.
