Question about views / tabs

I'm new...what generates the additional view tabs?  I'm not able to see what I'm doing to create them or how to manage them.  See attached.  Any guidance or info is greatly appreciated!

If you double-click the thumbnail of any slide in StoryView, the slide will be opened in a new tab in Normal View. To remove it from view, you can just click the X in the upper-right of the tab. (This won't delete the slide; it just removes it from view until you open it back up again.).
