Question on Button Sets
Nov 07, 2013
I have a set of 5 buttons on a slide with a variable set to "Visited" when the user has clicked each button.
How can I make a trigger that only allows them to advance to the next slide once every button has been clicked or "visited"? The condition dialog shows each button separately, but I need to apply the variable to the whole set.
I thought this would be simple but I'm having trouble getting this to work.

edit: Actually it would be the next scene they can advance to -- but same question I suppose.
Create a trigger something along the lines of:
Jump to Next Scene when State of [select all button shapes] is visited.
You can select all the shapes using the tick boxes.
Hope that helps?
Hi Greg,
The logic sounds good, but once they click to another button, the state of the previous button reverts to normal, correct? I'm thinking the best way would be to create a variable for each button that must be set to true?

Hello Maureen,
You are right. You have to create a variable for each button if this is what you want to do. You can't apply the variable to a button set.

Thanks all. Got it working!
A visited button will not switch to normal, Greg has given you the most levant way of doing this, variables are a bit of overkill here.
Hi Maureen! Glad to hear that you got it working, thanks for posting an update
