Question regarding multiple quizzes in one file

Apr 18, 2016

I have a situation in which we have 14 questions that everyone nationwide will need to answer and 6 questions that are state specific. We have set it up at the beginning where the user clicks their state on a map then it jumps to a slide that says welcome to that state's test then it goes through the general question bank then proceeds through the applicable state question bank. Each state has a results slide. The problem is, the scoring is showing failed even if they don't miss a question. I think it is thinking that they missed the remaining questions that are set up for the other states. How do I tell it they only need to complete one state question bank>

Hi Shelley,

Storyline only allows you to report one result to your LMS (either a results slide or tracking by slides viewed). Since you have multiple paths that a user could go down, you'll need all of those tracked by one results slide or a results slide that tracks multiple results slides. Either way the scoring will be added and totaled according to the questions or results slides you've chosen to track. Perhaps instead you'll want to look at adjusting the passing percentage so that the user could pass with a lower overall score based on answering only the questions for their state?
