Question slide - Clarification

Jun 24, 2019

I have created 15 questions slide which will appear randomly from these 15 questions, 10 of them have to be included in the quiz randomly. But, the 10th question alone must be included in all of the attempts.

Hi Pv,

It sounds like you’re creating a quiz that picks 10 questions from a 15 question group that you’ve created, and you’d like the 10th question to always be included, is that correct?

In Storyline 2, the best way to create that would be through a question bank. Here's how:

  1. Switch to Story View and click on the Home tab.
  2. Click Question Banks and choose Create Question Bank.

This is where you could add the 15 questions you've already created. Then, after you're done, you could draw the questions from that question bank into your course by:

1. Select the scene where you want to create your quiz or create a new scene.

2. Switch to Story View, click Question Banks, and select New Draw from Question Bank.

3. Press Ctrl+M to open the Insert Slides window, select the Quizzing tab on the left, and click Draw from Bank at the top of the window.

Here you can select how many questions you'd like to include in your quiz, and under the Include in Shuffle column you can select which questions will be randomly picked or whether they should be always included. Hope this helps!
