Any idea why i'm seeing all layers at once? Even though I've setup objects sporadically spanning across the timeline, they're still displaying at once on the stage.
I agree with Becky, as I'm not sure I understand what you mean about seeing all the layers at once? If you're looking at individual items on the timeline that appear at different levels like in the image below, you'll always see them all at once even though they don't appear until a specific spot on the timeline.
If you'd like to not see them while you're editing, you can click the "eye" icon to hide them, but just be sure to unhide them before you publish as the won't appear in your published output while hidden. You could also use the play button at the bottom of the timeline just to see how the images would appear and disappear within this slide.

Thanks Ashley - I'm an old Flash developer - The timeline is quite similar and very different.
