Quiz feature in storyline

Hello everyone
I am very new to Storyline and I have a question about the quiz features. I would like to make sure that students are taking the pre-requisite training module before coming to the live session. I would also like to make sure that I am able to identify learning gaps as they take the eLearning module.
Is there a way to track who is taking the course and also see what they are getting right and wrong with in the elearning module and have that information reported to my email or an LMS server?
Please let me know if you need me to clarify this but any help would be appreciated.

Hi Daniel and welcome to Heroes!
Some of this will depend on your LMS and the publish settings you need to use and what information is available as part of the LMS reports. You'll see here the information that is sent to an LMS from a Storyline quiz - and if publishing for SCORM 1.2 I believe you won't be able to see the users actual answers - only if they answered correctly/incorrectly.
In regards to taking the training before completing a quiz, if all the elements are within the same .story file, you could lock down the navigation so that the user has to advance through each slide before coming to the quiz - and if they're separate files loaded into your LMS, you'll want to direct that question at your LMS team. We dont' currently support an email results feature as noted here, but there may be community members who could assist you in setting up something similar using Javascript.
