If you need a timer for a quiz, you can just simply open a layer on timeline starts for 20seconds if your quiz requires 10 seconds to answer. This layer must be set to (Reset layer when revisits).
If that layer ends, show another layer "Time's Up!".
This is the simplest way of doing it.
If you want a complex one, a javascript code is required.

Hi. While you can set the total time a user is allowed to complete a whole quiz, I don't believe there is a 'per question' time option.
It can be done though. Just need to build from scratch (see the attached example).
