For the correct/incorrect slide layers during graded questions, there's a random white rectangle with a lower opacity that I can't figure out how to get rid of. I deselected "Dim" and there's nothing on the base layer causing this. It's only showing when I select the layers, but I can't see it anywhere. How do I get rid of it?
That extra shape is probably on the Master Feedback Layout. You get there by going to the VIEW tab, and selecting Feedback Master.
Note: You image does look like there's a semi-transparent shape covering most (but not quite all) of the slide. Be aware that the Feedback layouts sometimes use a semi-transparent background. That achieve the same effect of slightly dimming the base.
If the semi-transparent background is on the Master Feedback, that dimming will also happen on all layers you add, because those use the "Blank" Feedback layout.
Go to the Background Styles to adjust that as needed.

Thanks so much for the help! I will check this out. It looks weird to me so I wanted to ditch the semi-transparent layer.
