Re-attempting Quiz Questions

May 14, 2020

My company is a new user of Storyline and wants to use it for accredited online examinations.

I need a to be able to prevent users from re-taking any failed questions until they exit the course and revisit it again at a later date. This is because as part of the accreditation we have with the examiner, users must wait 7 days before they can re-take the course. But we don't want them to do the whole thing again, only the questions they got wrong. We can apply the 7 day wait within our LMS, but users need to exit the course before this is applied.

Is this possible, and if so how could I do it? We would be very grateful for any help! :)

Hi Tom,

Thanks for reaching out! While you do have an option in the results slide to retry incorrect questions only and the player option to resume behavior, exiting the course and restarting from the beginning will reset everything.

I'm sorry there's not a way to restart a course and save the quiz history! Hopefully others in the community can chime in with any tips that come to mind in this scenario!
