Re-Do Quiz
Mar 06, 2019
Hi there,
I have built a course that has 6 question banks scattered throughout the course and the last slide is the results slide. The user can download a certificate if they received 50% or higher, but if they failed I want them to be able to re attempt the quiz.
Is there a way to let the user only attempt the 6 question banks on the second go without having to go through all the content slides in between?
Cheers,
Megan

Hey Megan!
Storyline 360 has a feature to Allow Learners to Review and Retry Only Incorrect Questions. When the learner clicks the Retry button, they'll only see the questions they missed, and no content slides.
Would that option work for what you're looking to do?
Could you have a custom results screen that would look at the results and the direct them accordingly directly to those tests?
Hi Paul! Just in case you were asking instead of making a suggestion: The results slide can be customized, and Megan's course might work well to have the certificate accessible from the success layer of the results slide, and the option to retry the incorrectly answered questions on the failure layer of the same results slide.
Ah good to know! Thanks

Hi Alyssa,
This could work...thank you!!! :)
Hi Alyssa,
I have found the setting to re-set the incorrect questions, but what is the trigger I need to set up to actually get back to the questions?
Thanks,
Megan
Hi Megan,
Along with the "Reset Results" trigger, you'll also need this trigger:
Jump to slide [first question] when the user clicks the Retry button.
Let me know if that helps!
