I've designed an introductory slide that I now want to go back and insert into a number of different modules I've built. Is there a way of saving this slide somewhere in a sort of template repository or slide bank, so I can keep reusing it?
You can insert any slide(s) from any project with New Slide > Import... > Import Storyline.
That will bring up a window to select a Storyline project. When you open a project, you'll be able to select any of the slides to import.
Note: At the bottom of the Insert Slides window is a drop down for indicating where to insert the selected slides. I suggest you change that to "Current scene," so your intro slide will be inserted at whatever point you're at.
To make that easier, you could keep a .story file with just that intro slide.
Another option is to use file that as the starting point for your other courses, i.e., a set-up file. (This works for situations where you haven't started the related projects yet.)
You could also save as a template, but I think the above is easier.
