Recorder acting strangely

I downloaded storyline today and the recorder was working great. The software froze on me later, and then when I tried to record again, the escape key stopped working and I had to press "alt+d" and then done to complete the recording. Not only that but it started only capturing my first 3 steps for the tryit mode when there are 10+. Not only that, but after recording, it stay on "Saving ... 100%" for a long while. I uninstalled and reinstalled and same issues...

UPDATE: Now it is permanently stuck on "Saving ... 100%" which is what happened in the beginning to make it act strangely.
