When I record a screencast and insert using the View mode steps I don't have sound/narration - I get the mouse click sound but nothing else. When I insert it as a video I do have the narration. I'm I missing a setting and or is the program just setup that way?

Hi, Owen - Basically, that is just the way it is set up. When you insert using View Mode, that falls under the Step-By-Step slides section, so please note that Audio Isn't Included in Step-by-Step Screen Recordings. Please see this information on Creating Screencasts and Software Simulations for additional information.
