I was trying to replace an image on my slide when it went blank and produced a big red cross on the slide (see pic). Can anyone tell me how to fix it and why this has occurred please?
Hi Kerry! Is this the only slide you have had this red cross issue appear? You could try closing the file without saving it (please keep in mind any work done on the project will be lost since the last time you saved). Reboot your computer, and try replacing that image again. Does the same red cross appear? If it does, you could try importing your slide into a new file.
Let me know if any of those options work out for you!

I knew I had seen a post about this years ago and was able to locate it finally. I closed the file and rebooted, which seems to have fixed the issue.
