Refresh slide

Hi all,
I was trying to create a button that is capable of refreshing the current slide where the button is on. Did some search in forums and couldn't find a good solution.
However, fortunately, I found a way to do it. Here is how:
1. Create a button "Refresh"
2. Create a trigger for the "Refresh" button: "Jump to slide", and set the current slide as the jump destination
3. Open Slide Property, and choose "Reset to initial state" under "when revisiting"
4. Done

Yep, that's how I would set up a refresh button too Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing Cheng
Hey!
What if you want to do the same in a question bank?
I want to do the same! But in a question bank I won't be able to choose any slides (just next or previous slide, or slides that are not included in the question bank)
Do you have a guess?
Hi Boris,
There isn't a way I know of to reset/refresh the slides within a quiz bank, and I can't think of any community examples, although I've seen a few users submit it as a feature request.
Thank you for your reply and help.
It is possible to place extra slides behind each question and lock them to the previous slide/question. That works, but it's not that smart.
Glad I could help Boris, and as you mentioned you could set up blank slides behind the quiz slides. You'd likely want to set them for a very short timeline so that the user will not see them for long.
What about setting up a refresh button on a master slide? Since you cant specify the slide you're on using a master slide for the refresh button.
Hi Ros,
I don't believe you'd be able to set up this refresh/replay button from the slide master, as you mentioned you won't be able to determine which slide the user needs to "jump to" from the master.
It would be an idea to add a restart timeline option or something :)
That's definitely an idea you'll also want to share in the form of a feature request here.
