Removing feedback layers when reviewing quiz

Aug 05, 2013

Hopefully this is an easy fix, but how do I remove the feedback overlays on review of the quiz.

Hi Fabia!

Are you referring to the red and green banner that appears at the bottom of the slide during quiz review?

Although you can't edit the banner, you can cover it with a shape that matches the background of the slide. For example, if your slide background is white, use a white rectangle to hide the banner. Simply add the rectangle shape to the 'Review Feedback' feedback master layout. I hope that helps!

Ah, that makes sense! There's an easy way to hide those feedback layers. Here's how:

  • Go to the Correct feedback layer on the first quiz slide.
  • Add this trigger: "Hide layer [this layer] when the user clicks the Continue button."
  • Add the same trigger to the Incorrect feedback layer.

Follow those steps for all question slides, then preview the quiz again. Now those feedback layers should be hidden during quiz review. I hope that helps!
