I know how to keep the menu from displaying; however, that space where it should be is still there. Is there any way to have that empty space go away and have the slides show all the way across the entire real estate?
Ugh! It was the logo... Which I need! Thank you. There should still be real estate for the logo if we want to use a different layout. I've already begun designing and there's no good place to put a logo on my content slides. Guess I have to leave the menu.
The only thing I could suggest if you want to have a logo and not display the side panel is to increase the height of your course by adjusting the story size (in the Design tab) and then adding your logo to the top of your slide master.

Hi Celestial - take a look at your player settings and make sure nothing else is enabled in the sidebar section (i.e., notes, glossary etc).
Also make sure the logo option under Control is not selected.
If any of these things are selected, the space for the sidebar will display in your project.
