I've imported a presentation that had a built in timer on each slide. I removed the seek bar in hopes of being able to advance slide at learners pace but the timer is still in the course and I can't advance presentation until timer completes.
If yes, then it is set on the Results slide for the quiz questions. You can turn if off by going to that slide and clicking EDIT RESULTS SLIDE button and then deselecting the 'End Quiz After" option.
If the timer does not look like this then it is probably a custom timer that the developer set up - try checking the master slides to see if it is set up there. If not, you will have to give us more information about the timer or attach your Storyline project file so someone can take a look.
Thanks for the feedback but there isn't an actual timer on the screen it just acts like the seek bar is driving my permissions to advance even though I've removed the seek bar.
Ok, so then it must be that the menu is either set to locked or restricted. Go to the Player tab and click on Menu, then click on the little wheel icon. Make sure the Navigation Restriction is set to Free.
