This sounds similar to an issue on our radar dealing with looping videos specifically in the Flash output. I'd like to take a look at your file to confirm.
Would you mind sharing your .story file here so I can take a look? You can add it as an attachment right to a comment in this thread.
Apologies for the delay I have been working on some other projects
I added a workaround where the video plays once and then it just an image for the rest of the slide - not ideal, and has it emended a few times for another shorter slide
I don't have the original, I'm afraid and when I tried to replicate what I had done on a new project, it seemed fine.
If I see it again, I'll upload the source project
