From a normal Storyline slide, you can right-click the speaker icon to export the audio to an MP3 or WAV file. I can't recall off hand, but if the speaker icon appears on a slide imported from PowerPoint too, you could export the audio, delete the slide, rebuild it, then re-import the audio file.
