Report won't display
Oct 19, 2014
When the user hits the "Print Report" button on the Results Slide a new webpage opens but it's blank. And it has the following error message (see below). If I can't get the report to display then this software is completely useless to me. How do I fix this? I'm using Ariculate Storyline 1 with Update 6 installed.

Hi Monica and welcome to Heroes,
Are you running this content locally? You'll want to test and play the course within the intended publish environment, and on run locally if you had published for CD. You can review additional information about that behavior here and there are a few free web server options you may want to look at if you don't have access to one.
Hi.
I'm running the content on Internet Explorer (on our companies own internal intranet). I've published thecourse and tried test running it from the "story.html" file. Everything works great until I hit the "Print Report" button. It askes for the user to type in their name then instead of the report it just opens a blank webpage. I've had this problem in the past but it seems to resolve it's self if I delete the results slide and recreate it. But I've tried that several times.
I read thru the "additional information about that behaviour" and really didn't find anything helpful.
I checked with a co-worker and she had the same problem with another course. This problem only seems to have started after installing Update 6 (which I did a few days ago). My co-worker has had some success replacing the "report.html" file with an older version of thefile from a different course. No idea why that worked but it seemed to work for her. I've tried but no luck.
Is there a way I can undo Update 6?
Hi Monica,
Can you try it in a different web browser or using one of those web server options to help narrow down if there is an issue with how it's being run off your intranet or within Internet explorer?
Hi Monica,
We don't have public links to the previous updates as we don't want versions that we know have bugs available publicly. If you'd like to connect with our Support team, we can test a copy of your course and then if it's found to be a bug within Update 6 we'll be able to provide a link to download a previous update.
