Reporting on a Course When Tracking Multiple Quiz Results Slides

Mar 01, 2023

Good morning! I am building a course that has common content for everyone and then splits into a manager track and an employee track. The manager track has its own test and results slide; the employee track has its own test and results slide. I want to track both of those slides as acceptable "completion" for the course.

My issue comes in when it comes to reporting. We need to be able to see which path the learner took in the course. The way the Storyline content goes into an LMS ... is it possible to differentiate between which test the learner took to complete the course? I appreciate your help. TIA!

Hi Stacy, and thanks for reaching out!

I'm happy to provide you with more information on this.

  • One thing you can try is to create a course with multiple learning paths. Please feel free to download this template if you'd like!
  • You can then use the expanded quiz tracking feature, which will allow Storyline 360 to keep track of every quiz in your course, then send results to your LMS for the first quiz each learner completes.

To do this, you'll want to make sure that both quizzes are marked as Final Assessments in the LMS tracking window:

Also, please note that Storyline 360 sends this quiz data with an LMS, however; the exact information that's included in this report may differ depending on which LMS system you use.

If you have additional questions or would like help with your project, please feel free to share it here with the community or privately in a support case for further testing! We'll delete it from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.
