Require a correct answer to proceed

Oct 10, 2017

Hi.  I'm trying to require entry of a password in order for users to proceed to the remaining slides on a quiz.  I have entered a text entry question.  I tried having the user redirected to the previous slide (an intro slide) when they clicked the submit button after answering incorrectly but then they weren't able to return to the questions and reenter a new answer.  I added the ability to retry the question but that just added retries but didn't redirect.  I tried removing the submit button and adding my own button but I couldn't figure out what trigger to use to allow the user to continue with a correct answer but not with an incorrect answer.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  Thanks!

I've attached my story file. The first question is the one I am talking about. I could just have unlimited retries so that the user wouldn't be able to proceed until they got the password correct but if I want to limit the number of retries and not have them be able to proceed I'm not sure what to do. Thanks for your help. Currently I have the feedback for the first question redirected to the previous slide with an incorrect answer and I think I have 1 try for the answer. This redirects as I would expect but then a new answer can't be entered.
