Require Video One Time, but not when Returning to the Course

Apr 30, 2018

We have a situation where we have a video that the user must watch before moving on to the quiz.  If they stop and want to resume later, they must watch the video again.

Is there a way to allow the user to watch the video one time (require the video be watched in it's entirety one time) and not have to watch it when they pause the course and want to come back later?

Thanks for your responses!!

Hey Tammy!

When a learner leaves a slide that has a video on it, then resumes the course, they should pick back up where they left off in the video. It sounds like the video is restarting from the beginning, is that correct?

Can you tell me a little more about your project?

  • What version of Storyline are you using? To find out, click Help >> About Storyline.
  • Is the video a MP4 file or embedded from the web?
  • Is the course hosted on a learning management system?
