reset drag and drop question

Hi everybody,

I've created a drag and drop question with two attempts and need to find a work around to reset the state of the draggable items to its original position "without" using the reset slide to initial state when revisiting it, because i have a slide that allows the users to go back to the slide to review the correct answers and if i use the reset to initial state option then when the learner returns they will see the correct answers but not where they did good and where they did wrong.

so bassically what i need is a way to reset the draggable items without having to revisit the slide. i saw a work around for multiple choice option questions which was to reset the state of the options to normal before closing the try again layer, but that didn't worked for the draggable items.
