Reset states on multiple objects all at one time?

Mar 22, 2016

I created this wonderful Jeopardy inspired game (FROM SCRATCH!) and now I have to submit results so it can be scored on the LMS. I want to allow the users to retry the game if they don't score 80% but when they hit the normal Retry button it directs them back to my Game Board slide but all the states remain the same from the end of the game.

I don't want to set the slide to resume initial state because they pop back and forth to the game board between questions. Is there a way to set a trigger on the failure layer of the results slide to reset the states on the game board slide if the Retry button is clicked? Or is that just wishful thinking? I've attached the file for reference.

And fair warning, I didn't create a thousand layers for the questions, I did it my own way and used Free Form question slides and then changed the states on the buttons for correct or incorrect. I'm willing to create the multiple layers if there is no other way around resetting the state of the slide.

Also, given that this information is fairly basic and I'm giving them 3 tries on a 3 distractor question, is it even worth it for me to give them the chance to retry the game?
