resizing bullets misaligned vertically

Sep 12, 2019

When I enlarge bullet points in Storyline they're no longer aligned vertically with the text- they've moved up. The larger the bullets, the more misaligned they become.

  • I've tried copying the text from a word doc and writing the text within SL before adding bullets.
  • I've updated to the latest version of SL360.
  • It doesn't matter what shape the bullets are.
  • I've changed text to bullets by highlighting the individual lines of text and by clicking on the edge of the box containing the bullets.

Nothing seems to work :(

This is a new issue, as we've published lots of work containing larger bullets in the past without issue.

Image of the issue attached for reference.

Thanks, Dave

Hey Dave,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you are seeing!

I am sorry that you are hitting this snag. We are looking into an issue where enlarging bullet points appear to be misaligned with the corresponding text. I am happy to include this thread on that report!

In the meantime, what was the previous version of Storyline you were using? Did this just start to happen when you updated to the latest version (Update 31)?

Hi Vincent,
Having looked through some of our older work, we'd reduced the visual effect of the misalignment by limiting bullet size to 150% max, but it seems like it might be a long standing issue.
