Hey everyone -- some of you might have run into this difficulty before, but is there a way to change the size of your screen captures when saved in view/try/test mode? It seems easy enough to do in video mode -- you can crop the video like you would a picture, and you can also stretch it horizontally or vertically. However, I haven't been able to replicate that functionality in view/try/test.
If there is no solution to this, have any of you moved to video-on-a-single-slide captures exclusively?
Since in the view/try/test mode there are other elements generated (hotspots, click action, etc.) in addition to the screen capture you won't be able to resize the individual content image/background. If you'd like it to appear smaller within in your Storyline file, you may want to look at recording with a different screen size.
Thanks for sharing a suggestion here, although just to clarify do you mean the "zoom region" element or zooming within the slide view itself? The latter won't impact how it appears during publish.
While there isn't a way to adjust the size of the background image on screen recording slides, you can add extra slide space around the image. I recorded this how-to video for another community member recently, and I wanted to share it with you in case this is what you're looking for. I hope it helps!

Actually if you use the Zoom tool you can increase the size of the slide and area you want larger.

Since it's been a few years, is this an option yet?
