Restart Animation Button
Dec 03, 2012
I'm creating some Storyline quiz interactions in which I'm providing the learner with scenarios they might encounter, and letting them decide how they should react in a real world situation. I'm using Storyline characters to act out the situation, so there is timeline animation involved. My question is this: is there a way to provide the learner with a button to replay the animation, in case they need to see it again? I don't see any way to make a trigger that just jumps back to the beginning of the timeline.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Hi Arend,
To go back to the beginning of the timeline just use the "jump to slide" trigger to start again.
Also, make sure that the properties of your slide is set to "Reset to initial state" so it plays as the first time.
Hope it helps and have a nice day!

Hi Annie.
Aha! I tried the jump to slide trigger, but what I was missing was the reset to initial state.
Thanks!
Glad it helped! Have a nice day!
