I'm working with an animation, and we use an off-screen object to pause the timeline (requiring the learner to interact with the animation) by launching a "Continue" layer that pauses the base layer. The Continue layer has a button on it that simply closes the layer, resuming the main timeline.
My client would like to be able to navigate to a previous step on the timeline. Is there a way to create an object that can go to a specific point on the timeline? For example, I would like to return to a specific object that occurred at the 5 second mark of the base layer.

You cannot jump backwards and forwards through the timeline, you could just build it incrementally on layers and then reshow that layer.
