I have inserted audio files into slides that I want to stop when the timeline gets to a certain spot and then re-start when user clicks a hotspot. I can stop the audio successfully. However, I can only restart from the beginning of the audio. I would rather not edit the audio files because they were pre-recorded. Ideas? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for your reply! I figured out that part of the problem was that the audio files were on different layers. But that leads me to another questions. If I kept everything on one layer, could I reuse the same hotspot over and over again to stop and start the audio? Thank you!
One thing you could do is to use a shape (invisible if you want) and its Selected state to trigger the audio. Set a condition of the trigger: play if state = selected, pause if state is not selected.
Or you could use the hotspot to set a T/F variable. Toggle the variable when the hotspot is clicked, then play or pause the audio depending on the value of the variable.

Hello there! You can definitely do this using triggers, and I'm happy to help you set that up.
Specifically, you'll need three triggers:
Give that a try, and let me know how you make out!

Yes, but you would need to add something else.
